The tiniest patients at Toledo Children's Hospital require the most intensive care. Cassandra Reilly has spent the last couple of weeks at Toledo Children's Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit. Her daughter Nova was born a few weeks early and needed some extra care. "They immediately gave my daughter such personal care, almost like it was their daughter," says Cassandra.
Cassandra is referring to the nurses like Robin Ramm. Ramm has worked at the TCH NICU for the last nine years. She says her work here is very personal. "My niece was in the NICU when she was born and I watched those nurses and I was just in awe of them. They were heroes for my niece and I want to do that for parents I want to give them the peace and comfort to go home at night and sleep in their own bed or go get a warm meal outside of these four walls," says Ramm.
