Toledo Municipal Court closed to public; only individuals with cases will be permitted

TOLEDO (WTVG) - Effectively immediately, the Toledo Municipal Court has announced it will be closed to the public.

The building will be accessible only to individuals with a scheduled case. Deputies will enforce social distancing policies, and persons who are ill will not be allowed in the building.

All fines, fees, and costs due through June 1 will be continued an additional 90 days from the original due date.

For information on a particular case, check the Clerk of Court's website. The Clerk is in the process of updating due dates. If a certain date has not been updated, continue to check the website for the next 24 hours.

SYLVANIA MUNICIPAL COURT
Due to the coronavirus breakout, the Sylvania Municipal Court will remain open and operating but will be rescheduling all matters that are currently scheduled for dates in March and April, including traffic, criminal, and civil matters. Exceptions will be made for arraignments, individuals held in custody, and emergency motions.

All fines, costs, and fees that are due through May 4 will be continued an additional 90 days from the original due date.
