Toledo Police release photos of Sunoco armed robbery suspect

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Toledo police are asking for help to find whoever robbed a gas station in south Toledo Monday morning.

A little before 6:30 AM the Sunoco gas station at the intersection of Heatherdowns and Key was robbed.

Police say a light skin black male wearing a black hoodie and black sweatpants shoved the clerk behind the counter and demanded money from the safe.

The suspect is believed to have been armed with a handgun. He took an unknown amount of money and fled on foot behind Sunoco toward the Andover West Apartments.

Workers at Sunoco tell 13abc the clerk involved is doing OK and the store is back open. This gas station was also robbed in February of this year.
