Person of interest in fatal hit skip turns herself in

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Toledo Police say an 18-year-old woman who is a person of interest in a fatal hit skip that happened on October 6th has turned herself in. Police issued a warrant for Jazmine Nycole Hayes on October 9th for complicity to commit aggravated robbery. Police say Hayes was involved in a robbery that took place at 1530 Cherry Street on October 1st. Police say that robbery is not related to the hit skip. A 45-year-old woman named Tammy Zanter was struck and killed by a car around 11:00 p.m. on October 6th near Front Street. Investigators say the driver never stopped. Police say they want to talk to Hayes about the incident.
