Toledo company moving to Rossford

ROSSFORD, Ohio (13abc Action News) - NAI Harmon Group and Denver Warehouse Florists broke ground on a new distribution center in Rossford.

Harmon owns the land and will lease a couple acres to DWF which plans to spend $1.4 M building a 20,000 square foot facility.

The company currently works out of a building in downtown Toledo but needs to move. After two years of searching, DWF settled on the Rossford site.

But closing could not occur until the EPA settled an issue concerning wetlands located at the site on Bass Pro Blvd.

In total, Harmon has 88 acres of land and is actively marketing globally to manufacturing, warehousing and distribution companies.

DWF will transfer its 25 member workforce to Rossford, but with better distribution routes through I-75 and the Turnpike, it hopes delivery times to customers will be reduced, thereby, improving business and allowing for additional jobs.

Harmon Group believes 8 to 24 companies could locate at it's property and create up to 500 jobs over the next five years.
