TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Point Place woman missing for almost two weeks is home and safe.
Ahead of Brandy Miles return, family and friends worried for her safety, getting no answers to their countless calls.
But moments after we met with loved ones Wednesday, she did call.
13abc talked with Brandy Miles' best friend, boyfriend and 9-year-old son Wednesday who all emotionally pleaded for answers. Now, they believe they may have them, but there's still mystery over exactly what happened.
Here is what they shared, just before Brandy was found.
37-year-old Brandy Miles is a mother of four, and the love of Kris Andrews' life.
13abc News reporter Micaela Marshall asked him, "If by chance she happens to see this story, what would you want to say to her?" "That I love her and to come home," Andrews replied.
"I just want my mom to come home," said her 9-year-old son, Gadge
Andrews says on the afternoon of September 28, a friend dropped her off at T Nails on West Alexis in Toledo, and that's the last anyone saw of her.
"Me and her best friend have looked everywhere. I mean everywhere. I've been in fields. I've been everywhere looking for her," said Andrews.
"I'm very scared. It's been awful for all of us. Anybody who knows her is just...it's been really bad," said her best friend Amy Kane. "She has not gotten ahold of her mom. Her boyfriend hasn't heard from her. I haven't heard from her. Nobody has heard from her at all this whole time," she added.
Andrews shared one time he called the day she went missing, she did pick up.
"It was Saturday night and I called her all day Saturday and her phone was off and when I called her about 1:30, it was about 1:30-2 in the morning, she answered the phone accidentally. Butt answered the phone and all I heard her say is 'Google where am I? I just want to go home! I just want to go home! Google where am I?' and that's the last words," he said.
Not long after these emotional interviews, Kane told 13abc Brandy finally called back. She says Brandy was at the hospital getting checked out. Brandy telling her she had escaped from a North Toledo home. She claimed she had been held captive in the home for twelve days.
"No reason for her to run at all...She just disappeared, and she wouldn't disappear like that," said Andrews.
Toledo police confirm Brandy has been found safe in North Toledo. A spokesperson with TPD says Brandy called them and now detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
