Troopers investigating fatal weekend crash in Findlay

State Troopers from the Findlay post are investigating a fatal accident over the weekend. That accident happened at 8:20pm on Sunday at the intersection of SR 103 and IR 75.

According to police, 42-year-old Matthew Pfenninger was traveling south on the 75 exit ramp while 53-year-old Larry lee traveled East on 103. Pfenninger stopped at a stop sign and proceeded into the intersection where he was struck from the side by Lee.

Lee was taken to a local hospital before being transported to St. Vincent's in Toledo. His passenger, 50-year-old Anne M. Lee, was pronounced dead at the scene. Pfenninger was uninjured in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation.
