Two men are facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and reckless homicide after a deadly heroin overdose.
According to court documents, Kevin Byington (left) and Joshua Melnek (right), both of Millbury, are responsible for the death of Brandon Morris in May 2015.
Melnek, 29, remains in the Wood County Jail. Byington, 26, was released on bond in late December 2015.
According to The Blade, Melnek pleaded guilty before Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex to tampering with evidence and permitting drug abuse.
The Blade reports that Melnek will be sentenced July 19th, and Byington will stand trial on October 19th.
