Two people shot on Upton in Toledo

TOLEDO (WTVG) - Toledo Police are investigating following a shooting that sent two people to the hospital Friday afternoon.

That shooting happened right around noon on Friday. Upton is blocked from Freeman to Macomber.

According to police, one of the victims was sitting in a car behind a building owned by Beal Properties when a white SUV drove up and began shooting. One bullet grazed the first victim's arm. Another bullet struck a Beal employee in his prosthetic leg. Both are expected to be okay.

Police do not currently have information about suspects at this time, though they are looking for the SUV. The incident is under investigation.
