TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Police have charged four people accused of shooting out the car windows of University of Toledo students. It happened last month in a campus parking garaged on North Towerview off of Bancroft.

UT police charged 21-year-old Achlee Vannoster, 25-year-old Dameon Bates, 25-year-old Stephen Provolt and 35-year-old Nicholas Poker.

The university used its camera system to locate the suspects vehicle leaving the garage. According to a court document the suspects entered the east parking ramp on the campus in a dark blue suburban. They allegedly shot out the rear windows and taillight of eight vehicles parked inside the garage. They were charged with criminal damaging.

"Other cars were damaged. We certainly don't like the idea of someone coming on our campus shooting cars with BB guns," said UT police chief Jeff Newton.

The victims want the suspects to pay for the damage.
