GIBSONBURG, Ohio (WTVG) - A closed shelter house at William's park was vandalized. The police department is assessing the damage.
"We are hopeful that we will find the individual or individuals responsible for this ridiculous act. We are currently doing a lot of good things in the parks to improve the playgrounds, basketball courts, and drinking fountains and it's very sad that things like this happen," said the mayor.
He's offering a $100 reward out of his own pocket for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for the damage. All information should be reported to the GPD. Students from Gibsonburg high school volunteered to repaint the shelter house.
