FOSTORIA, Ohio (13abc Action News) - Voters in Hancock, Seneca and Wood counties have voted in favor of a five year, six mills levy for emergency services.
The City of Fostoria was placed in fiscal emergenc back in May by the state auditor.
The levy is part of a five year financial recovery plan to get the city out of the red. It's supposed to generate $3.5 million dollars annually.
Under the approved levy, the owner of a $100,000 home will pay an additional $210 per-year.
