TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Natalie and Latasha met while serving in the military, they were both stationed in Hawaii. The friends are now doing their part to give back to the Toledo community they now call home.
They opened JDog Junk Removal and Hauling, a veteran and women owned company with an eco-friendly focus. 13abc went out to one of their job sites to see the vets in action.
Both were mechanics in the military, Natalie served four years, Latasha served 12. Since their time in the Army ended, both had several other jobs in male dominated fields.
The women were searching for a purpose and a way to use their leadership skills, which they found in JDog. Natalie and Latasha are now in the business of clearing out junk and finding it a new home. JDog Junk Removal & Hauling is a national veteran owned franchise.
