Work Release Housing has a huge mold problem

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Inmates say the conditions inside the work release program are shameful and puts them in harms way, and administrators apparently agree.

They've released 15 inmates from the program early due to the nasty bathroom conditions.

According to Lucas County commissioner Gary Byers, the county budgeted half a million dollars to clean up the black mold and fix the water problems.

But that work has been put on hold, and the Work Release program will be moved to the Correctional Treatment Facility.
