It's a Toledo building that's stood for nearly 80 years and is known for its intricate architecture and immaculate artwork. We're talking about Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral. 13abc takes you on a tour in this week's You&ToledoMe.
Since 1940, The Rosary Cathedral has been a place of worship to thousands, held countless funerals, baptisms and weddings and attracted people from around the world.
The cathedral stretches 285 feet long by 215 feet wide. Plans to build began in 1912, but it wasn't dedicated until 1940. The faithful say the parish is a welcoming place to all, believing it's rich history makes it a Toledo treasure.
