(WTVG) - Voting is currently underway for the 2019 WNBA All-Star game and you can help get a local alum on the roster.
Natasha Howard graduated from Waite High School right here in Toledo and headed to Florida State University to play NCAA ball before being drafted to the WNBA in 2014. Currently, she plays for the Seattle Storm.
Now she has a chance to play for the All Star team, but not without a little help from her fans.
Once a day, from now until July 9th, you can cast your vote to help get Howard on the team. All you have to do is click here, vote for her (you can also cast nine other votes for her teammates) and repeat once a day. You can also vote on the WNBA app, or through Google. Just type her name into the search bar and click the vote button.
Fan votes will be tallied alongside votes from current WNBA players and a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.
The WNBA All Star Game tips off on Saturday, July 7th in Las Vegas.
