#13 Oilers Host Timberwolves on Monday

The Oilers hold a 24-7 lead in the all-time series against Northwood dating back to the 1962-63 campaign when they defeated the Timberwolves 92-73.

Findlay came away with an 84-74 win over Northwood last year in Midland, Mich. Martyce Kimbrough led four Oilers in double figures with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting while Taren Sullivan had 16 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Alex White poured in 15 points on 7-of-13 shooting while Aaron Overhiser had ten points on 4-of-6 shooting.

Trey Smith and Tommy Schmock provided huge minutes off the bench and were instrumental in Findlay's win. Smith finished the game with nine points, four assists and three rebounds while Schmock had eight points to go along with five assists, three steals and two boards.
The Oilers shot 49.2 percent (32-of-65) from the floor and drained 10-of-20 (50%) attempts from behind the three point line. They also came away with nine steals and blocked six shots.

#13 Findlay

The Oilers are coming off of a 103-92 win over 14th-ranked Ferris State. They are 4-0 on the season now and ranked 13th in the nation.
The Oilers lead the G-MAC in field goal shooting percentage, making 51.2 percent of their attempts. They also lead the conference in three point shooting as they are converting 43.2 percent of their tries and rank second in the league in scoring at 88.5 points per outing.
Junior Aaron Overhiser leads the team in scoring at 17.5 points per game. He is also shooting 64.3 percent from behind the three point line, hitting 9-of-14 attempts on the season.

Senior Alex White is averaging 16.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest while sophomore Anthony Masterlasco is contributing 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

Northwood

The Timberwolves are 2-3 on the season and are coming off of an 88-75 win over Walsh on Nov. 21.

They are averaging 77.2 points per game and have been led by Alec Marty, who is scoring 15.0 points per outing. Marty is making 50.0 percent of his sthot attempts and is hitting 63.2 percent of this three point tries.

Jack Ammerman is scoring 12.6 points per game while Trey McBride is chipping in 11.0 points per contest. McBride is also grabbing a team-high 6.0 rebounds per outing.

Ja'Kavien Lewis is off to a solid start as well with averages of 9.2 points, 7.4 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.

A Tough Place to Play

The Oilers are 612-119 (.837) in Croy Gymnasium since they starting playing home games there during the 1969-70 season. They have gone undefeated at home eight times in a season since they began play in Croy Gymnasium as well.

In the past 15 years the Oilers have posted a staggering 221-10 record at home for an incredible winning percentage of .957.
From 2008-11, the Oilers won 71-straight home games, which at the time was the longest streak in the nation regardless of NCAA division.
Handling Non-Conference Foes

The Oilers have posted an 83-3 record (.965) against non-conference opponents in games played at Croy Gymnasium during the past 15 years.

Their last loss at home to a non-conference team came against top-ranked West Liberty State as the Hilltoppers defeated Findlay by a score of 90-74 on Nov. 14, 2012.
