The Falcons (11-5; 3-0 MAC) defeated the Chippewas (13-3; 2-1 MAC), 97-87, in overtime inside McGuirk Arena in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
Bowling Green trailed by six points with just 1:11 left in regulation, but BGSU closed regulation on a 6-0 run, capped by two Justin Turner free throws with 7.6 seconds left to send the game into OT. Turner then scored 12 points in overtime to lead the Falcons to the win. Turner finished with 30 points -- the third 30-plus point game of his career.
Michael Laster (18), Dylan Frye (11), Antwon Lillard (11), and Matiss Kulackovskis (10) each scored in double figures for the Orange and Brown, while Demajeo Wiggins finished with eight points and 16 rebounds.
The Falcons have won seven-straight games by 10-plus points for the first time since 1947-48. Bowling Green is 3-0 in MAC play for the first time since 2004-05. BGSU has won its first three MAC games by double figures for the first time in school history.
