Summary: The Eagles dealt with a lot of injuries last season and has a dismal record in a tough conference (TRAC). They were ahead in the second half in five games and only won one of them. So Galyas said he needs his team to finish games. The bright spot from last year is a lot of guys got experience as underclassmen. Clay did graduate all of their skill positions players except for QB Logan Heintschel. Galyas said, “this team likes to practice." That can’t be said of every team. The numbers are up at Clay. It’s the largest senior group (18) that Galyas has had and the largest group overall with 67 kids in grades 10-12. They will be inexperienced as far as starters go but overall they'll be deeper at every position
