The Mid-American Conference announced today a multi-year extension with CBS Sports to televise MAC football and basketball games through the 2022-23 season on CBS Sports Network. The deal, which is a four-year extension from the original deal signed in the 2015-16 season, continues through a sublicense agreement with ESPN.

CBS Sports Network will air a maximum of 12 football and 12 men’s basketball games annually, along with televising the MAC Men’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals and the MAC Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

“This multi-year extension with CBS Sports Network continues our national exposure of MAC football and basketball games to provide a platform for our student-athletes, coaches and programs to showcase their talents to a national audience,” said MAC Commissioner, Dr. Jon A. Steinbrecher. “Having CBS Sports continue their relationship with our Conference shows the commitment our national television partners have in the Mid-American Conference and our fan base.”

“We are excited to continue our partnership with the MAC,” said Dan Weinberg, Executive Vice President, Programming, CBS Sports. “The MAC is a strong conference with a top-notch pedigree comprised of high-quality members all playing on the national stage, and we look forward to showcasing the league on CBS Sports Network in the years ahead.”
