TOLEDO (WTVG) - Maumee Valley Country Day School senior Emma Daugherty will high jump next school year at Princeton.
Ivy League schools do not offer athletic aid, but she will receive money because of her academic skills. In fact, Daugherty retook the SAT to show she is not only a strong high jumper, but also an outstanding student.
Daugherty says she also considered Cornell, Harvard and Yale before ultimately deciding on Princeton.
Daugherty is the defending OHSAA Division III Girls High Jump State Champion.
