Summary: North Baltimore started seven freshmen on both sides of the ball last season. That won’t happen again. Players and coaches alike say the atmosphere is great during preseason drills. They have optimism because after a dreadful year the newly installed offense and defense from a year ago is now easier to grasp. They’ve fully transitioned to a 5-wide offense to utilize Levi Gazarek. He is a playmaker, standing 6 feet, 5 inches. He's the "real deal" according to his head coach. Gazarek will play tight end at BGSU next season but will play QB for the Tigers. Gazarek mentioned sophomore Mitch Clark as a much improved wide receiver.
