The University of Findlay men's golf team wrapped up the 2019 NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Super Regional Tournament on May 10 at the Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Ark. The Oilers finished the event in 18th place with a 54-hole score of 917 (305, 312, 300).
Freshman Tanner Grzegorczyk led the Oilers at the tournament and finished in a tie for 14th. After posting a 4-over par score of 76 in the first round, Grzegorczyk came back with a pair of even par scores of 72 in the second and third rounds on Friday. He finished the tournament with a 54-hole score of 220 (+4).
Junior Luke Kelly tied for 59th with a 228 (76, 78, 74), junior Sam Griffith finished in a tie for 77th with a 232 (76, 82, 74), freshman Caleb Westfall tied for 94th with a 237 (77, 80, 80), and senior Dylan DeWitt placed 106th with a 245 (78, 83, 84).
