The University of Findlay volleyball defeated Kentucky Wesleyan College 3-0 (26-24, 25-21, 25-17) on Oct. 6 in Findlay, Ohio. The victory brings the Oilers' record to 15-3 on the season and 10-2 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).
The Oilers hit for .311 as a team and were led by junior Shelby Kin who hit .611 by recording 12 kills, while junior Izzy Murphy recorded 10 kills, and senior Amanda Winner contributed nine.
Senior Hailee Olson recorded 40 assists in the win.
Defensively, the team was led by Senior Kara Scherger, who received 12 digs against the Panthers. Winner recorded eight digs, while sophomore Olivia Morrison, junior Ally Duncan, and Kin each added six.
The Oilers will be back in action with the Annual Midwest Region Crossover on Oct. 12 and Oct. 13 in Indianapolis, Ind.
