Toledo Men's Tennis Falls to Duquesne, 5-2

The University of Toledo men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Duquesne in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Sunday.

In doubles play senior duo Omar Espinosa/Luka Vitosevic secured a 6-1 win over Chris Corrao/Dane Bendel, but it was not enough for the Rockets to clinch the doubles point.

The Rockets earned their two points in singles play with wins at the No. 5 and 6 positions. Espinosa swept Alejandro Rodrigues at the No. 5 spot 6-3, 6-4. At the No. 6 spot sophomore Tyler Gargas defeated Dane Bendel in two sets 6-2, 6-1.

The Rockets will travel to Chicago, Ill. to take on Chicago State on Friday, Feb. 22 at 5:00 p.m. and UIC on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 6:00 p.m.
