Claire Aleck and the Rockets were swept by Cincinnati 7-0 on Saturday.
Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's tennis team fell to Cincinnati in a 7-0 sweep at Twos Athletic Club Saturday afternoon.

"I hope that this is a match that we look back on and realize it was a turning point," said head coach Tracy Mauntler. "Cincinnati played us tough and they wanted it more than we did. They exploited some weaknesses that we need to fix and we will fix. The team will be ready for Cleveland State on Friday."

The Bearcats swept the Rockets in doubles, despite the efforts of UT's No. 3 doubles duo Claire Aleck and Christina Fuller, who lost in a 6-4 match, UC then made a clean sweep of the Rockets in singles play. Seniors Kokoro Chishaki and Aleck pushed their second sets to tiebreaks before falling 7-5 each.
