Lourdes University’s Jasmine Stein (Gibsonburg, Ohio/Gibsonburg) was selected to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Champions of Character Team as two Gray Wolves collected postseason honors for their efforts this season.

Stein earned her honor for displaying the five core values of NAIA: integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership. As a junior, she competed in all six of the teams’ races, turning in a season’s best time of 21:41.7 over five-kilometers at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic.

Stein joined Meagan Weller (Paulding, Ohio/Paulding/Toledo) as the duo was named the WHAC’s All-Academic Team. The honors are awarded to juniors and above with a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or higher who have been at their institutions for at least one full year.

Despite joining the team late this season, Weller was a key component to the team and turned in a season-best 5k time of 28:17.7 at the WHAC Championships on Saturday.
