Severe storms that moved through Northeast Indiana that forced the cancellation of the Ken Venturi Invitational held at Zolner Golf Course in Angola, Ind.

The event was started, but unable to be completed, and will not be finished. At the time of the cancellation, Lourdes was in second place, with a two-under par team total, trailing host Trine which was as nine-under par.

The day's format varied from normal invitational play. Each school had three pairs of players that turned in a score. Holes one to six were played as a scramble, holes seven to 12 were better ball, and holes 13 to 18 were played as alternate shot.

Lourdes will close out the fall portion of schedule on Friday, as the Gray Wolves compete in the Defiance Invitational. Action is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. at Red Hawk Run Golf Course in Findlay, Ohio.
