White Earns Weekly Honors for 3rd Time this Season

Senior forward Alex White was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Week on March 4 for the third time this season.

White averaged 26.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game for the Oilers last week in a pair of wins over Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene. He also averaged 2.0 steals, 2.0 assists, 1.5 blocks, and shot 68.8 percent from the floor.

In the Oilers 81-59 win over the Panthers on Feb. 28, White had 22 points and six rebounds. He then followed with 31 points and eight rebounds during Findlay's 85-59 win over the Trojans on March 2.
White is averaging 18.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game for the Oilers, who are 25-3 on the year.
