(Toledo) 13 Action News The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio is introducing a new service today.
The center will become the first fully equipped demonstration site for AudiblEye.
It is a new mobile app that provides indoor navigation for people who are blind or visually impaired.
People can download the app and hear where they are in the building using special bluetooth beacons installed in the center.
The app was designed by Toledo resident and BGSU grad Jerrod Witt.
He introduced the concept at a BGSU "shark tank" inspired event held during the school's entrepreneurship week.
