...Additional Rain Expected This Evening and Monday... .The risk for flash flooding remains over the region into Monday. The bulk of the rain has exited the region with the exception being the far southern counties. Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop over the area overnight and could lead to additional flooding. After each round of rain the wet ground conditions will support rapid runoff and increase the threat for flash flooding. ...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT... The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of north central Ohio, northeast Ohio, and northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Crawford, Knox, Marion, Morrow, and Richland. In northeast Ohio, Holmes, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, and Wayne. In northwest Ohio, Hancock and Wyandot.

* Through late Monday night

* Additional rainfall is expected through late Monday night and will quickly run off possibly leading to more or worsening flooding.

* The risk for flash flooding will increase after each round of rainfall, particularly in poor drainage areas near creeks, streams and ditches and in urban areas. Street flooding is also possible. Additional rainfall amounts between 0.8" and 1.30" is possible from just south of Findlay east to Youngstown and areas south.

A Flash Flood Watch is issued when there is a potential for flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. Monitor the forecast and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued or if flooding develops.

* Flood Warning for The Tiffin River near Stryker

* until Wednesday evening.

* At 1 PM Sunday the stage was 11.2 feet and rising.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* Forecast...The river will rise to crest near 11.6 feet around 2 PM Monday June 17 and fall below flood stage around 8 PM Tuesday June 18.

* At 12.0 feet...Portions of State Route 66 flood north of Archbold.

* This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.9 feet which occurred on Jun 1 2015. &&

Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to play in or near flood waters. * until Monday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 7:00 PM Sunday the stage was 9.4 feet

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 9.0 feet

* Forecast...the river will fall to below flood stage by late tonight.

* At 10.0 feet...Water from the Eagle Creek will impact portions of South Blanchard Street, Brookside Drive, Fremont and Graceland Streets. The intersections of Beechmont Drive with Fairmont and Rosemont Drives flood.

* At 9.0 feet...Eagle Creek will overrun its banks and begin to inundate portions of Fremont and Graceland Avenue. Water will inudate a field near Rosemont Drive. &&
