Herzing University makes Christmas brighter for five families

Christmas isn't as joyful for some children as it is for others. For families who thought putting gifts under a tree wasn't possible, Herzing University made a way.

Sponsors allowed the university to adopt five local families, who have some connection to the university, to receive gifts. All of the families are going through tough times.

Patricia Bernal said, "they'll have a nice Christmas now. I really appreciate it. It was very nice. We've been through a lot, but things are better."

At the annual Christmas event kids took pictures with Santa, created Christmas cards and took home goodies and gifts.
