Whirlpool to open new factory in Perrysburg

The Whirlpool Corp. plans to open a new production facility in Perrysburg.

CLYDE, Ohio (WTVG) - The Whirlpool Corp. plans to open a new production facility in Perrysburg.

The future plant will be located on State Route 25 south of Levis Commons at the former Williard and Kelsey solar facility.

It will be the company’s 11th factory in the U.S. and sixth in Ohio, with an investment of $60 million.

100-150 jobs are expected to be created.

It will make components for washers and dryers which will be sent to other facilities in Findlay and Marion.
