TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Authorities in Bowling Green are investigating after they found a 56-year-old woman dead early Monday morning.

The woman has been identified as Jennifer Moore from Bowling Green.

According to BG police, officers responded to the 200 block of Clay Street around 5 a.m. Monday for a report of a female not breathing.

Bowling Green firefighters arrived and found the person was dead. It’s unclear what caused Moore’s death.

Moore was a senior administrative assistant in the Center for Faculty Excellence with Bowling Green State University, according to and e-mail from BGSU President Rodney Rogers that was sent to students and staff on Tuesday. She worked for the university for nearly 14 years.

“Those who knew Jen remember her as hard-working and committed, kind and was always willing to do more for BGSU and our students,” Rogers said in a statement. “We mourn her tragic loss.”

The university is encouraging the community to send condolences to her family at sympathy@bgsu.edu.
