(Gray News) — A man is going viral for his reaction to the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.

As others ducked under their seats for cover, one man was seen calmly continuing to eat his salad.

CNN has identified him as Michael Glantz, a talent agent with Creative Artists Agency. Glantz represents CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer.

Glantz told TMZ he felt safe and wanted to watch everything unfolding in front of him. He said, it’s “not every day you see something like that go down.”

Glantz added that he was happy people were finding humor in his reaction after what he considered a horrific moment.

Authorities said the dinner had barely begun Saturday evening when Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of California, tried to race past a security barricade armed with a shotgun and a pistol.

He exchanged gunfire with Secret Service agents tasked with safeguarding the event.

Allen was injured but was not shot. A Secret Service officer was shot but was wearing a bullet-resistant vest and survived, officials said.

President Donald Trump was hurried off the stage unharmed as guests ducked for cover under their tables.

Allen was charged Monday with the attempted assassination of Trump, among other charges.

He was ordered to remain in jail pending additional court hearings and faces up to life in prison if convicted of the assassination count alone.
