Bryan police investigate South Street shooting, ask residents to check cameras

BRYAN, Ohio (WTVG) - Bryan police are investigating a shooting reported early Saturday morning in the 200 block of South Street.

Police say officers were called to the scene around 3 a.m. May 30, 2026.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Investigators said the suspect or suspects are unknown, and no description or method of travel was immediately available.

The victim was taken to Bryan Community Hospital and later airlifted to Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center. Police said the injuries are not life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking residents in the area to review home security camera footage from around the time of the incident.
