‘Star Wars’ editor Marcia Lucas dies at 80

(CNN) - Hollywood is mourning the loss of “Star Wars” editor Marcia Lucas.

She died Wednesday in Rancho Mirage, California, of cancer. Lucas was 80.

Lucas was previously married to “Star Wars” creator George Lucas.

She was one of three people who shared an Oscar for editing the iconic 1977 film.

Other films she edited include “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back,” “American Graffiti” and “Taxi Driver.”
