Firefighters rescued a dog from a fire that broke out in a Toledo home Monday afternoon.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Firefighters rescued a dog from a fire that broke out in a Toledo home Monday afternoon.

The flames started around 1:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of Caxton Lane.

One person was inside with their dog at the time of the fire, officials said. The resident was able to make it outside safely, and firefighters were able to rescue the dog, according to TFRD.

No one was hurt. The fire is now under investigation.
