Erin Ashley

Erin Ashley is a weekend meteorologist and multimedia journalist. She joined the FOX19 NOW First Alert Weather Team in February of 2025.

Erin was born and raised in the greater Cincinnati area. She grew up in Milford, Ohio in western Clermont County, and she attended Goshen High School.

Thunderstorms used to be one of Erin’s greatest fears. It wasn’t until she took a physical science course in her first year of college that her fear of weather turned into a fascination. She hopes her presentation and education can help the community through the fear that severe weather can be.

Erin is a proud Bobcat alumnus from Ohio University. She received her B.S. in Broadcast Meteorology in 2023 as the first in her program.

Right after graduation, Erin trekked up north to Toledo, Ohio (WTVG) as a weekend morning meteorologist. There, she got to forecast the northern lights during solar maximum, report from the path of totality during the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024, and cover the largest tornado outbreak to happen in Northwest Ohio history.

Outside the FOX19 NOW studios, Erin loves trying local coffee shops, biking, and spending time with her family. You can find her in the Bailey at TQL Stadium cheering on FCC or taking a walk through one of Cincinnati’s beautiful parks.
