The search is on for stolen firearms in Oregon

Stolen firearms remain on the streets after a burglary at an Oregon store and shooting range Monday morning.
Now police and the ATF are trying to figure out what happened to them and what's out there.
That incident happening at Towers Armory on Towers Road near Woodville Road.
The ATF and Oregon police are working with the store owners to get an inventory of what was taken.
Despite signs detailing security and cameras in plain site at least two people broke into Towers Armory around 3:00am Monday. The crooks got in through the roof.
"We know from looking at some of the video surveillance that the perpetrators were in there for an extensive amount of time," said Oregon Police Chief Mike Navarre. "It raises a lot of questions which we're trying to answer in the course of the investigation."
Chief Navarre says police were not alerted to the break-in until around 9:00am. Navarre says he can't comment publicly at this time as to whether or not any alarm was tripped.
"We know that there was a significant loss of weapons both handguns and long guns and other equipment related to that industry," said Chief Navarre.
Store owners are communicating with customers on Facebook. This message was posted around noon Monday:
"Towers Armory was broken into about 3am this morning, please bare with us as we try to figure things out."
On its website Towers highlights its pistol and rifle ranges, over 2000 firearms in stock for sale and rentals of fully automatic firearms. At this point 13abc is not being told which specific firearms were taken.
On Facebook the company said: “rest assured all .50 cal and full autos are locked up.
Police and the feds now looking to the public for help.
"That does cause us a great deal of concern knowing that those guns are out in the community either for their own personal use or for sale to someone else," added Chief Navarre.
Chief Navarre says his detectives have lots of surveillance video to go through. They're hopeful those images get them closer to figuring out who did this.
