Driver seen hitting school bus head-on seconds after students cross street

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM/Gray News) – A driver in Mississippi is accused of crashing into a school bus before taking off, police said.

According to police, eight students were crossing the street at a bus stop just before 8 a.m. when the crash happened.

No one was hurt.

Police said the driver, described as a man, drove away without providing any identifying information and has not been found.

Police said the man was driving a silver midsize four-door sedan that had damage to the car’s left front. Authorities could not determine the make and model of the car from the video.
