Frosty/freezing weekend mornings; gusty Sunday/Monday, rainy early week
Published: May 1, 2026 at 5:43 PM EDT|Updated: May 1, 2026 at 11:34 PM EDT
A few evening showers will give way to clearing skies overnight, allowing temps to drop to the 30s. A frost advisory is in place along/east of I-75, with a freeze warning issued for our western counties. More spotty showers Saturday (mainly east) will lead into yet another chilly start to Sunday, though gusty southwest winds will usher in warmer temps near 60° — and near 70° Monday. The “rain train” pulls in fast Tuesday, with some rumbles of thunder possible. In all, another 1-2″ is expected through the first full week of May (highest totals southeast).
