New skin disorder treatment offers hope

There is a new medication for adults with advanced and severe eczema. It's called Dupixent and it works to treat this condition where other treatments have failed or caused serious side effects.

It's injected once every two weeks. And it works to control the molecule that causes eczema. The only drawback for some patients is the cost which can add up to over 35-thousand dollars a year. But insurance does cover it for many patients.
