Our morning round of snow has pushed out, though more quick bursts will develop along the approaching cold front by late afternoon. Watch for blowing/drifting as northwest gusts kick up to 40 mph in some spots, and temps plummet back near zero by dawn Saturday. Sunday could carry up to 1″ more snow through the region, though this cold snap won’t last nearly as long as the late January event. We’re back in the 30s by next midweek, with an eye on potential freezing rain early Wednesday.
