Gun buyback event set for Saturday

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - The Monroe Street United Methodist Church will host an unwanted firearms disposal Saturday.

The weapons will be disposed of, with those bringing them in receiving gift cards in exchange.

The event is located at 3613 Monroe St., and will run from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Those participating are asked to ensure the firearms being donated are unloaded and secured in the back of the vehicle.
