Diane co-anchors 13abc Action News at 5, 6 and 11 along with Lee Conklin. She is an award-winning journalist who's been honored with Emmy awards, Associated Press awards and Edward R. Murrow awards for her work on-air and she's helmed newscasts that have earned the stations dozens of awards as well.
Lee Conklin is an Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter who’s been at 13abc for 28 years. He co-anchors the 5, 6, and 11 o’clock newscasts with Diane Larson. He also co-anchors the 5:30 newscast with Kristian Brown.
Sashem Brey grew up loving two things: talking and TV. Now she is proud and grateful to have made a career out of both!
James Starks was born and raised right here in Toledo and has traveled all over both as an athlete and a journalist. He returns to his hometown to join the team on 13abc Action News Good Morning.
Kristian has been a member of the 13abc news team since 2002 and anchors 13abc's noon newscast and our 5:30 pm newscast alongside Lee Conklin.
Christina joined 13abc in 2007 and currently anchors The Nine and Action News at 4.
Tony Geftos is a 4x Emmy award-winning journalist and former president of the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors (2018-19). Tony started at WTVG-TV in June of 2000 and is currently the anchor of Action News at 4 PM.
Josh Croup started at 13abc in February 2021. He previously was the evening anchor at WDTV in West Virginia.
Claire Mitchell comes to 13abc from Bowling Green State University where she studies broadcast journalism. She's the Emcee for BGSU sporting events, a student news anchor for BG24, and part of the Alpha Phi Sorority. You can watch her anchor weekend mornings on 13abc.
Lissa has spent most of her life in the Toledo area with four generations of her family and decided at the age of five that she wanted to be a television anchor/reporter.
Eric returns to WTVG after previously working with the 13ABC sports team back in 2012. He started his career in television here, in Toledo, before stops in Roanoke, VA and Raleigh, NC.

Alexis Means joined the 13abc Action News team in October of 2001 and has spent nearly two decades telling stories about the people and events happening in and around Toledo, Ohio.
Ethan grew up north of Columbus Ohio with his two brothers, twin sister, and parents. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in May 2022 and spends his weekday mornings reporting on the community at 13abc. Ethan is also serving as a second lieutenant in B CO. of the 148th Infantry Brigade in Bowling Green for the Ohio Army National Guard.
Carli Petrus is a multimedia journalist for 13abc Action News. She joined the team in the spring of 2022. Carli grew up in Northeast Ohio, but she is excited to continue learning about the Northwest side of the state.
Sophie Bates started at 13 Action News in October 2022. She grew up across the state line in Erie, Michigan and has known she wanted to be a storyteller since she was in third grade.
Meghan joined 13ABC in May 2022 after graduating from University of Kentucky. She started producing the noon newscast and now works as a multimedia journalist.
JD Pooley comes to 13abc with over 25 years of experience in journalism. Pooley started his career as a photojournalist working as a freelance photographer for such news organizations as the Associated Press, New York Times, Getty Images, Wall Street Journal and many others. He was most recently with the Sentinel-Tribune as a multimedia journalist.
Zain Omair began behind the scenes at 13 Action News in March 2021. She then switched to her role as a Multimedia Journalist in February 2023.
Brenna Nye joined 13 Action News in June 2023. She is a graduate of Ohio University and is excited to be back in her hometown sharing and telling the stories of the people within her beloved community.
Jada Respress is a multimedia journalist for 13abc Action News. She joined the team in September 2023 after graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University. She’s a native of Columbus, OH and is excited to learn more about Northwest Ohio.

I started working at Gray TV’s Washington D.C. bureau in May of 2023. I found my calling for news while attending Butler University during the Ferguson Riots after the killing of Michael Brown, an unarmed teenager. During the chaotic times is when I realized how facts and storytelling can really impact a community.

Stetson Miller joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in February 2023 as a multimedia journalist after working at WTOP, WJZ in Baltimore and WCBD in Charleston, SC.

Annie has worked at various news outlets in Washington, D.C., including covering the 2020 and 2022 election cycles for C-SPAN. Before that she worked at local stations in Louisiana and Virginia.
Joshua worked at several local stations before moving to Washington, D.C.. There he launched a national morning show, "The National Desk" for Sinclair. He now works as a producer for the Gray Washington News Bureau.
Leah Vredenbregt joined the Gray Washington Bureau team in June 2023 as a weekend producer. She is a recent University of Missouri grad who worked for three years in mid-Missouri news, with internships across the country in both local and national news outlets.
